12 Companies Paving the Way in the Vegan and Plant-Based Mission

The number of companies that are solely in line with animal-free ethics is growing and infiltrating all industries as veganism gains momentum.

A few vegetarian companies once existed. These increased and some added a number of animal free products to their range as veganism was more widely recognized.

Slip ahead, say, for five years and suddenly, without stumbling over the host of the new vegan enterprises you cannot enjoy a social media session, a supermarket shop or browse the online market.

However, which are the major currents really pressing ahead?

Desserto

Thanks to Desserto and the cactus-based alternative that innovated, animal leather days could be numbered. It can be used for countless applications of fashion, automotive, footwear and furniture, light, soft, and with texture close to the ‘true thing.’

More partners see the value in engaging vegan consumers across a wider spectrum than food as their reach for the company grows exponentially. H&M is only one of the most recent adopters.

Happy Cow

HappyCow has been around for a while, starting as a simple finder and now expanding into a full community in your hands. It is available for free download and use (although some functions are optional), in vegans’ smart phones worldwide. The restaurant reviews remain one of the most useful features and help you to achieve free payments.

Meatless Farm

There are many options for plant protein, but Meatless Farm does a lot for the vegan movement. In partnership with Real Madrid, it has also launched a Calgary plant protein facility to supply a range of basic ingredients to other brands, which has spread the message that meat-free eating does not adversely affect their performance but will help the planet. If we ever saw it, this is community over competition.

Oatly

Oatly, Oatly, Oatly, Oatly. It is with the best of them with its annoyingly good advertisements, strong support for the alt-dairy industry and a variety of oat products. Known all over the world, it is without a doubt one of the most pioneering equipment in the vegan world and has been enjoyed from coffees and restaurants to private homes.

Daiya

How often have we heard that if there were not the lack of delicious dairy cheese people would try to go vegan? Well, for store-backed cheeses Daiya is paving the way to it.

It also features a great packaged cheddar and an impressive mozzarella replacement with the best boxed mac and cheese products available.

Candy Kittens

Few people could have predicted that Jamie Laing, a Chelsean Alumni and a McVity heir, would step up to create a candy brand, but we’re here. The complete product catalog is free of gelatine, clearly labeled as vegan and delicious.

Candy Kittens was one of the first chewy candy brands stocked by big supermarkets to be found in Waitrose and has become connected to everybody else and continually bring new tastes. Here, Haribo might get a lesson.

Naturli’

A Danish enterprise with a global reputation, with a host of alt-dairy, meat-free protein products and even pizzas from plants, Naturli’ evolves fridges and freezers around the globe.

He is by no means a newcomer, having been founded in 1988, but he has become one of the best vegan alternatives for the butter market recently. Moreover, how can we all like a “eat plants, because there is no planet B?” company that says to us?

Veshin

As a leader in the industry, Veshin is turning a leather goods factory into a vegan manufacturing hub. It will take some time to complete the transition, but work has begun seriously, with alternative animal leather and sustainable fabrics already being used. This is certainly a company to look at, because what it is trying to do is truly groundbreaking and exciting.

The VeganKind

TheVeganKind we could wax lyrical, but let’s keep it simple. A vegan supermarket dedicated to shopping for essential items and treatments. TheVegankind is an answer to a question many of us did not think we could ask. There is an alternative to four large supermarkets, and home supply will not break the bank, because the indigenous and bigger brands show equal love and support to the VeganKind.

THIS

THIS is a vegan company that combines excellent products with genius marketing and a wicked sense of humor. It is widely recognized to offer the first viable bacon alternative that meat-eaters really want. We vegans can laugh at ourselves, and we can be funny.
