Helene Greenberg is the Founder and Executive Director of Triangle Vegfest. She organized the inaugural Vegfest in October 2014. Prior to organizing the Vegfest, Helene lived a vegan lifestyle for 2 years and a vegetarian lifestyle for over 20. She created Triangle Vegfest to help educate the Triangle community about easy ways to reap the health benefits of a plant-based diet, provide a marketplace for vegan-friendly businesses to promote their offerings, and encourage local restaurants to offer vegan menu options. Triangle Vegfest is now in NC, SC, and TN and has expanded to upwards of 9 festivals and additional smaller events throughout the year.

Helene has a Masters of Education from American Public University with a specialization in school counseling, as well as extensive experience in sales, project management and real estate.
